The dinosaurs that come with this figure are definatly
worth it. Each compy is in a different position, one crouching and one
standing tall. Although they're way too big to be compies, they're still
awesomely sculpted, and fun to play with even if they don't move. The
Alan Grant has better clothing than the original, but that's about it.
His arms seem a tad long, and he's sort of half-walking, half-leaning
back, making him look sort of like an ape. His head could be compared
to the infamous president George Dubya Bush, if viewed from the right
angle. He doesn't dwarf the other figures with rippling muscles and
a barrel-like chest like the wave 1 Grant, and if it wasn't for the
too-long arms, he would be my favorite Grant. The weapon reminds me
of the gun used by the mercenaries in the beginning of JP3, but only
in general shape. It's a fat cylinder on three short legs, with a giant
fireball sticking out of the front. I don't think I need to say more,
excet that the JP3 weapons, while funny, are the most rediculous yet
from the Jurassic Park to line. I would give this combination of figure
and dinosaurs an 8/10, because the compies are so cool.

This must be one of my favorite Raptors! It was also
the first JP/// toy i bought, together with the dilophosaurus. The sculpt
is really great. Although the head is always bent to the side and the
mouth is always open it still is one of the best!It has the cool feather
mohawk that was introduced in the third JP movie. The wound is in the
velo's tail and you can see some tailbones and muscles. The colors are
also done very cool! The lower body is some kind of grey with brownish
stripes. The upperbody and outside of the legs are dark brown with a
thick red line from head to tail over the animals spine. It's the same
red as the dinodamage wich is not really cool cause now only the bones
are different from color. The re-ak at-tack action is not really super.Pull
the button on the velo's back and it will slash his claw and play the
attack sound. The sounds are really cool though. The attack sound sounds
like a charging sound, wich is really great! The wound sound i've heared
in the movies, but i can't place when.It sounds cool! This toy is good
in size compared to the JP and TLW lines, but not with the JP/// line. But
as the JP/// line size's suck i would'nt call this a flaw but more a
good thing. If you collect JP toys you must own this great raptor. If
you don't own it, try to get it, cause it really is a great toy.

This is the Spinosaurus that everyone's been waiting
for. This is the dinosaur worthy enough to take the Tyrannosaur's place
in the Jurassic Park 3 logo. This toy is AWESOME. The Wave 1 RE-AK A-TAK
Spinosaurus, while a decent toy, did not live up to my expectations.
So when I finally found the "Spinosaurus Aqua Attack" after
weeks of searching, I was ecstatic. The paint job on this toy is beautiful,
an off-white underbelly with a pale maroon back. Each spine on the now-to-porportion
sail is painted with a shiny blue stripe, and the eye is a vivid green.
The detail on this figure is simply incredible. You can clearly see
every scale, the folds and twists in the skin, and the musculature beneath
it. The mouth is permanantly open, unlike it's predecessor, but this
doesn't really subtract from the toy. The RE-AK A-TAK feature is like
that of the Alpha Velociraptor or Dilophosaurus. The sounds are the
same as those from the regular Spinosaurus, which is the only drawback.
Oh well. The poseability is great, and, like most of the other JP3 dinosaurs
and figures, the Aqua Spinosaurus can stand on it's own two feet without
any other support. Definatly the best Spinosaurus figure. Too bad the
Animatronic Spinosaurus wasn't this cool. I'd give this figure a 10/10

I have got to say this is the best JP/// figure I
have seen yet! The colors of him are just awesome. He has a gray shirt,
with black packs all around him. His parasail is really cool, and it
is also in scale with the figure. The parasail looks extremely detailed
compared to the one that cam with Ian in TLW set. His articulation includes
moveable arms, one that can move up and down, and the other can move
any direction. The pteranodon hatchling will fit perfectly on his arm.
He stands about 3.5 inches tall, and is extremely detailed!
The hatchling is tan with green, brown, and orange stripes through him. It is about the exact same size as JP Series 1 Alan Grant's pteranodon hatchling, and would fit in well with it. Here are my final ratings: (out of 10 *'s)
Overall- 9.5Overall, this is my favorite JP/// action figure. It is great in about every way. I highly recommend this toy! |

I was only marginally excited about this toy when
it was first announced by Hasbro. Now, after finally finding it in Wal*Mart,
it's definatly one of my favorite of the Jurassic Park 3 RE-AK A-TAK
electronic dinosaurs. The neck is made of rubber with a wire core, but
it's not really poseable, due to the curves already sculpted into the
rubber. The most you can do is adjust the amount of curveature in the
thinnest part of the neck. Oh well. It still looks awesome. The tail
is made of the same hard plastic as the body, and is curved inward to
fit into the package. This looks kindof silly when you activate the
A-TAK feature of the toy by pulling down the front right leg. The already
bent tail waggles from side to side as the dinosaur roars. This is the
only wave 2 dinosaur without re-used sounds, and in addition to being
original, they sound really cool. The sculpting and texture are pretty
well done, as is the nice blue paint job. The major downside is the
size, but it's still fun to play with. I'd definatly suggest picking
this up if you see it in the stores, it's worth it. I'd give it an 8/10,
for the size and bent tail.

When i saw this dinosaur on the package of one of
the TLW action figures, i really looked forward to this toy. I love
it when a new dinosaur is introduced to the JP toylines. This is a not
to populair dinosaur. I don't recall seeing a chasmasaur toy ever. I
don't see why, cause i think it's pretty cool.Let's start with the sculpt.I
think It's done really cool. You just have to see it.The colors are
pretty nice too.The dinosaur is some kind of green/yellowish and has
a black line running down his back. His stomache is orange.on the head
around the eyes its also black. As this is an attack roar figure, the
action is roaring. When you pull it's left leg it's head will go up and
it will roar. I think the roaring sound is pretty neat. You'll have to
judge that yourself.I'd say this toy is worth buying.

Dennis Nedry w/Spray Gun and Dilophosaurus: Wayne
Knights character comes alive (metaphorically speaking) in this
action figure with a Paralyzing Spray Launcher, gas mask and Dilophosaurus
hatchling. I liked the hatchling because it was fitting for Nedrys
character and his demise from the film. I loved the Dino-Damage rip-off
arms features. I thought that this was hilarious. Having one hanging
from the jaws of a Rex always made me laugh. Rating: 3 stars out of

This is really a beautiful JP figure. It wasn't in
any of the JP movies, but that makes it even better.I love it when figures/dinosaurs
are added to the series that weren't in the movies.Let's take a look
at it.The sculpt is beautiful, the best Dimetrodon sculpt i've ever
seen! The head looks really scary, almost evil. The body and legs are
done with really great detail, just like the tail. The fin is really
cool too. It's even bendable! The colors couldn't have been better also.
The lower body and the head are light green. His back and a big part
of his tail and the fin are dark green. But the fin also has yellow
spots on it. The eyes are black.I also like the action on this toy. When
you press the left behind-leg toward his body his mouth opens really
wide. It doesn't sound really original and it isn't, but with this toy
it looks really cool!It is one of the most scary looking JP dinosaurs. If
you can get it, get it.

Dino-Snare Dirtbike w/Carter: This was my favorite
vehicle out of all of
them! I loved how Carter came with a huge machine gun and his bike blew apart. I loved it! The hole in his back for the gun was also a nice touch. However, I wish that Kenner was a bit more accurate and had someone else come with the bike. Ludlow, maybe. Rating: 4 stars out of 4. |

First of all, this figure means a lot to me. I got
it back when it was new and I was about six years old. I've held on
to it ever since. It is my only Jurassic Park toy I have that didn't
get given to the thrift store. Anyway, I feel really lucky.
Dr. Snare features a Dino Damage piece that comes off his trenchcoat (which I lost, sadly) a Dino Snare stun Gun, and a Carnotaurus hatchling. Unlike most figures of its time, its weapon doesn't shoot anything, so it doesn't need to be big enough for the kid hold it, rather than the figure. Mine has three pieces for his gun and I think that's all it had to begin with. Anyway, there's the weapon itself. It has a long peg sticking out of the right side and two peg holes on either side of that. Secondly, there is a big knife with a long handle. The handle has two pegs on it, so it attatches to the gun. The knife also has a peg on the top. Finally, there is a snare collar with a hole at the end. The hole allows it to be attatched to either the tip or the end of the handle on the knife. The collar clips to almost any dinosaur's neck, snaring it. The figure can hold the weapon by the peg on its side. It can also grasp it with both hands (right hand on the barrel and left hand on the handle of the knife), which looks much better. All three pieces are the same brown color, which is a little dull. The Carnotaurus hatchling is too cute to be legal! It has big green eyes with red pupuls. Its horns are glossy black, which looks awsome. Its leg bears a white JP logo. Most of the body is smooth, except for the back. The back has three rows of little bumps running from head to tail. The back is a neat red color, which nicely fades into the grey color of the rest of the body. I don't understand why it is grey and not black, like the adult version. Still, it's cute as hell. The figure itself is totally awsome. He wears a green explorer hat with a black rim. He's got long blonde hair and an evil smirk on his face. He is not wearing a shirt at all. Just a long grey trenchcoat with a non removable rope sculpted to it and a big tear on the back (which the dino damage used to cover). He is totally muscle-bound, with very wide shoulders, a barrel chest and a six-pack. He has heavy scars on his chest and back, which also used to be covered by the dino-damage patch. There is a gold bandoiler strappted across his chest. He has a copper-colored belt buckle with a T-Rex skull logo on it. His pants are brown, with another bandoiler strapped to his left leg. His boots are green with a scaly texture and orange stripes. Articulation is basic, arms legs and head. I wonder why JP figures have no waist articulation. Oh, well. Simply put, I LOVE this figure!! Everything about it. This as a very rare figure these days, and it's not getting any cheaper. If you see it on Ebay, buy it!!!!! |

I've heard a lot of people complain about his toy. They
say it doesn't look like Eddie in the movie. And it's correct.I think
this toy was made when they were making the storyboards or something. In
the storyboards of TLW, Thorn was the chaacter that had Eddie's scenes. This
action figure looks just like the way Thorn was drawn on the storyboards. So
if you judge the characters only by the likeness of the actors who played
them, you are right to say It doesn't look like Eddie. But looking at
the storyboards, this character has a pretty good likeness. The capture
claw is a very big weapon. Kinda cool though.I think you all now how
it works when ya see it.It works just like Ellie's grappling hook. The
triceratops hatchling, said to be a repaint, is not a repaint.Although
it looks very much like Ellie's hatchling, it's not as fat and looks
upward instead of to the side.It is green with a sand color on it's
belly and around it's eyes.I think this is a pretty cool toy.But it's
not hard to get so, when you buy it, don't pay too much for it. Just
what it's worth to you. Not a cent more.

This is another one of Hasbro's horrible mistakes.
This figure has nothing. There is no accessory (besides his flashlight,
which is permanently in his hand) and the articulation is just plain
horrible! All you can move on this figure are his arms, waist, and head.
The legs are stuck in an odd "running" position, but you can't
make him run if his legs don't move! The only good things about this
figure are the color, which really isn't that amazing, and the detail,
which I can say is fairly good.
Now on to the Alpha Pteranodon! This is pretty much the only reason I bought this toy. It is huge compared to all the other dinos that come with the other figures. It has "flappable" wings and a rotating head, but if you wove the wings too far out, they don't attach too the inner wing, and look really weird. Some people even had fun popping off the head, which I guess can be called dino damage. The pteranodon is blue, with a brown back and white belly, and has black stripes throughout his body. Here are my final ratings: (out of 10 *'s)
Overall, this is a pretty bad toy, articulation, size, looks, are all pretty bad. The only good thing is the Pteranodon. |

Ian Malcolm w/Launching Smart Missile and T-Rex: Jeff
Goldblum's character
shows its colors with this figure. The only Malcolm figure I own, this figure has a well-working Smart-Missile Launcher (needs hand support when clipped to figures back) and a rather cute T-Rex hatchling (Note the cast on the baby's leg). Rating: 3 and a half stars out of 4. |

The Jungle Explorer is really one of the most interesting
vehicles of any JP line, mostly because it manages to resemble the vehicle
as seen in the first film, but with a few additions to increase its
playability. The car is surprisingly large for a toy vehicle, which
adds a lot to the realistic feel of the toy as a big tumbling SUV. The
toy car's finish is nicely done to match the exotic jungle pattern of
the film's car. The "dino-damage" hood can be ripped away
to simulate an attack complete with teeth marks and gnashes on the engine
components. The toy falls short in only a few places, namely just a
front seat for passengers. A side rack for the blood sampling missiles
replaces part of the rear window. These missiles can be fired with a
launcher attached to a back panel which can flip up and down to hide
or reveal its presence. It's an accommodating design that allows those
who want to fire their missiles to do so, while also concealing it altogether
for those who are
more interested in the car's exterior appearance. The glass window on the roof opens and closes to allow dolls to be placed inside the car. It's right next to another of Kenner's own creative additions, a small, black mounted video camera. While it probably wasn't in the film, it's a clever addition to the car nonetheless. If you're collecting JP toys, the Jungle Explorer is a definite must-have item which will add much to the overall visual appeal of a loose collection as well as the functionality and potential in dioramas. 9/10 |

This toy rocks!First of all the sculpt is allmost
exactly the same as the movie one (just smaller). It's very easy to pose
as well! The colors are done very well. The rex is some kind of brownish
and a line of purple running down his back from head to tail. The action
is pretty neat. You can break his left leg and then repair it with a
cast. You can also open his jaw but you must do this by hand. It's not
that it opens when you pull his arm or something. If you don't own this
toy, try to get it.It looks very realistic.

For all the hype surrounding this figure, it didn't
quite meet up to my Jurassic Park 3 action figure standards. The detail
is not great, and neither is the paint job. The only colors on the diver,
not including the American flag badge on his shoulder, are black, blue,
yellow, and a sort of pale copper. The tears in the black wet suit look
more like cracks in old cement than anything else. On the plus side,
this figure stands very well, owing to the flippers on its feet. This
is the only figure that can hold it's gargantuan "Dino-tame weapon"
without toppling over. Like the Military General figure, what you can
see of the mostly-hidden face is contorted in an angry scowl. The wet
suit is just skin-tight enough to show off those rippling muscles needed
to lift the Men In Black style weapons. The equipment, while bland color-wise,
is sculpted fair enough, but not to the amount of detail as the Billy
or Chopper Pilot action figures. The Spinosaurus that comes with this
figure is a miniature version of the larger Spinosaurus Aqua Attack,
but the coloration is a bit different. Mostly a dark blue-gray, the
sail is a glittery red, and the skin is dapled with shiny blue stripes.
It's not quite as nice as the original Spinosaurus, but it's not bad
either. I'd give this assortment of figures and accessories a 7/10.
It just didn't satisfy me enough.

Good size and similar to its movie counterpart. Also
comes w/Kelly Malcom that is close to TLW's Kelly. Has dino damage window,crane,3
missles,and a fold out back
10/10 |

For every toyline there are better and worse looking
figures. This is one of the TLW toys that is worse looking. That is because
of the sculpt. The sculpt was already used with JP series 2. It just
had different colors. The head and lower body of this dinosaur look good. It's
the upper body that ruins it.What is the biggest problem is that the
arms are not placed right and it has a big chest. So what about the colors? The
colors are done pretty good in my oppinion. The whole dinosaur is green
with darker green lines on it's back from head to tail and the ram head
is red fading to white on the top. It's eyes are painted red.The action
on this toy is to push a button on it's leg (the button doesn't really
ruin the toy) and it's head will go down to get a ramming effect. This
toy comes with a capture gear with you can place on it's head and back
and when you do the ramming action it will break into two pieces.I wouldn't
say that this is a must-have toy, maybe just for collectors like me
or people who just love pacho's.When you doubt between another JP toy
and this one, pick the other one. And you should defenitly not pay to
much for it!This is not a hard to get toy and it's one of the worse
looking JP toys.

Like the Aqua Spino, this raptor exceeds the original
in color, sculpt, pose, and all around coolness. Although the Alpha
Raptor is still one of my absolute favorite JP toys, it can never hope
to be as awesome as the Pack Raptor. The paint job is awesome, the skin
a blueish gray with a line of of orange and black running down its back.
The sculpting is excellent, except maybe for the too-big lower jaw.
Other than that, the Pack Raptor is near flawless. The pose is fairly
well done, with the raptor crouched down in what looks like preparation
for a leap. The wound on the side is odd, because only the button is
painted, but it's not too bad, because the raptor looks so elegant and
deadly when viewed from the opposite side. Like both the RE-AK A-TAK
Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus, you press a button on the raptor's neck
in order to open it's mouth and play the attack roar. Unfortunatly,
the sounds are the same as the Alpha Raptor, but they're louder, which
half makes up for it. This toy has to be one of my favorite Jurassic
Park toys ever. A 9/10.

Although the likeness is not perfect, this figure
looks enough like William H. Macy to be passed off as him. The paint
job is a little questionable, with a pink grapefruit colored shirt and
orangish hair, and the lack of a moustache. Even so, it's not as bad
as some make it out to be. It's easy to make your own moustache with
a sharpie or some other kind of magic marker. The skin is weird, with
his face a normal pinkish color, and his arms a pale peach. It's not
obvious though, so that's okay. But what's with his shoes? One's brown
and the other is gray. Weird. However, the ACE bandage wrapped around
his ankle gives this figure the best "dino-damage" yet. A
very nice touch. The pose is nice too, although it's a little hard to
balance Paul. The weapon he comes with definatly wins my vote of stupidest
yet. It's some sort of net launcher that flips a tiny plastic net about
three inches into the air. So stupid it's funny. The stegosaurus that
comes with Paul is very nice, with pretty blue and gray skin. I'd give
this package of human, dinosaur, and stupid net launching thingy an
8/10.

The leader of the Evil Hunters, Roland came with a
huge stund prod
and a little knife with a Pachy hatchling. I didn't like the fact it had a T-Rex Turner head, a little knife that didn't do anything (and too small!), and Pachy skin on his chest. That kinda disturbs me. Rating: 2 stars out of 4. |
|
The Sarah Harding LW figure is pretty neat, given
the other figures in the LW S1 line. Besides Kelly, it's probably the
most movie-accurate figure with the exception of a few minor things.
Her face looks similar to Julianne Moore's. She wears a red short like
in the film and her shorts and vest are pretty close to the correct
colors, except the vest is without sleeves and they're shorts instead
of pants. Sarah's accessories aren't bad either, as far as LW figures
go. She's the only one who comes with a real prop-a camera with strap
that can be put around her neck. Although it's an orange color, her
stego hatchling is really cute. She also comes equipped with a net and
launcher. Sarah is definitely a worthwhile LW addition to a collection.

This is also a dinosaur that was introduced to the
JP toyline with the TLW Toyline. As i said before in the Chasmasaur review,
i love it when new creatures are introduced to the JP toylines. This
toy is nothing like the spinosaurus in the JP3 movie.First of all it
is way smaller. It's just as bif as the dino-scream dilophosaurus. It
also has an oval mouth, like the dino-scream dilophosaurus, and not
a croc mouth like in the JP3 movie. It doesn't really ruin the toy though.I
think it is a pretty cool addition to my collection. The colors are done
nice. The toy is green with a blue line running over it's stomach from
head to tail and a purple line running from head to tail over it's back.Of
course this spinosaurus also has the sail on it's back.It is a green
sail with purple lines and dots on it.The attack is pretty cool, but
nothing new. When you pull it's left arm it will open it's mouth (hey
a snake tongue, just like the dino-scream dilophosaurus) and it will
roar (just like the dino-scream dilophosaurus). The roar, i think, is
done great.Although this dinosaur has a lot in common with the dino-scream
dilophosaurus, It's a great addition to any JP collection.

The Animal:
Description: A pterasaur with an attitude. This guy has a large triangular crest over it's beak, which was probably used for mating. It ate fish and carrion. It had a wingspan of 5 metres. The fossilized remains have been found in Brazil The Toy:

The Thrasher T-Rex is one of the best Lost World toys
and the best Jurassic
Park Rex to be released so far. The colour is very good, closely matching that of the rex's in the film. It starts at the top with a dark green and gets lighter as you go down. It has dark green stripes at the top and a white belly. The look of the Rex is very lifelike and everything is to scale (the figures come up to his knee, just like real life). The mouth is always open but the toy still looks great and you can fit half a man or dino in there. Also if you pull the jaws apart the plastic tongue clicks up and holds the mouth wider, making it look like he is roaring, and is returned to its normal position by pushing the tongue down. The body is made of dino skin effect material, except the arms and legs which are plastic. The capture gear is good and looks like a muzzle. Now onto the bad points. The attack could be better, pulling hard on the tail to make his neck move and the legs do a poor job of standing him up without support. However these aside its still a great toy and gets 10/10. |
|
The last of the Dino-Damage dinosaurs that had a skin
piece that looked like Isla Nublar. I dont know if that was just
a coincidence or if it was a advertisement. Either way, I liked the
ramming head action for this creature.
Rating: 3 Stars. |

This is my latest addition to my jp toy collection.I
bought it in a toy store in the netherlands for about 10 Euro's, wich
is not much.Ok let's start with reviewing this toy.First of all i like
the sculpt. It looks really cool. It could never be as cool as the JP1
Trike but this one is a great triceratops. The horns are done really
good. I think they are with good detail as well as the whole trike.
You can see cracks in the horns. The dino damage is in the Trike's leftside.
You can see his ribs and his intestans. The only thing i think is strange
about his dino damage is that it looks like the skin is really thin.
Although the Trike should have had a very thick skin like modern rhino's.The
colors of the toy are really great. The trike is light brownish with
redbrown lines on the whole body and head. on the back is a dark brown
stripe towards the tail. The horns are white and the eyes are yellow. The
sounds are done pretty good. The attack sound is really cool, but the
wound sound, if you listen closely, is a T-Rex sound from the first
JP movie. This isn't to much of a problem though. The attack action on
this toy is pretty cool. You must pull up the tail and the head goes
up and you here the attack sound. There's one mayor backdrop. The size.
It's way to small compared with the JP and TLW toys. But since allmost
all the dinosaurs in the JP3 toylines have a sizeproblem it doesn't
matter really much.Overall i think this toy is a great addition to any
JP collection.
|
|
One of the coolest of the JP series one toys, its
darkish red in color, covered in a dark camoflague pattern and the underside
is a light green. When you squeeze its ribs (yes it even has ribs!)
its mouth opens a little and it roars, when you tap its feet on a hard
surface it emits the vibration tremor noise (like heard in the movies!).The
Tyrannosaur's tail is also posable so you can put it in various positions
and the toy itself is perfect in size in comparison with the vehicle
and human toys. The only fault I have with the rex is that it doesn't
look much like the one featured on the back of the JP series one toy
packages (which looked even more like the rex in the first JP!)
|
|
This long-awaited toy was much more satisfying than
the disappointing Military Diver. The "Ultra T-rex" is the
perfect Tyrannosaurus figure, second only to the Lost World Thrasher
T-rex. The detail is superb. The paint job is pretty cool, the whole
dinosaur painted a sort of brownish-green, with darker striations of
black and reddish-brown running along the back and sides. The pose of
the Ultra Rex is much better than it's smaller counterpart. This dinosaur's
back is perfectly horizontal, with a thick tail curving out behind it.
It's head is heald high, and the legs are far apart. This dinosaur is
ready for anything. Except, maybe, the twice-as-big Animatronic Spinosaurus.
The RE-AK A-TAK features are nice, although two of the three sounds
are re-used roars from the first Tyrannosaur. Pulling down on the Rex's
right arm opens the mouth and the dinosaur roars. Pressing on the wound
plays a second roar. The neat thing about this guy is, after either
of the roars are triggored, slamming him down on the table or your hand
makes an ominous Tyrannosaur footstep. Be careful though- don't slam
it too hard. I would give this figure a 9.5/10. It's definatly one of
my favorite Jurassic Park 3 action figures.
